When my clients first come into therapy, they feel like an old iPhone that hardly holds a charge with 100 notifications left unread. They are exhausted and frazzled. While their dreams and passions keep them moving, they are scattered and stretched so thin in every direction. They may be doubting why they went into this career path in the friggn’ first place. They know something has to give, they need to do more of that elusive self-care stuff, but relaxing is so hard when their inner critic screams even louder that they need to get shit done.

My clients want to be calm, confident, and true to themselves. They desire deeper relationships and time to actually have fun with friends. They are tired of feeling tired, over with the over-thinking and over-accommodating, and sick of saying yes when they really meant to say no. They want to go on vacations guilt free and truly relax. They are ready to learn new skills to handle difficult emotions, say no to others (and mean it), rediscover their strengths, and reclaim their creative power.

Hi there! I’m proudly a human first, clinical psychologist second. I’m a connoisseur of many paradoxical things, from downtempo electronica to heavy metal. Despite my peaceful presence, I’m a rebel at heart and love kickboxing or raving my frustrations away. I love my tea dark, just like my humor. Oh, and I’m a recovering perfectionist with attention abundance (aka ADHD).

I love working with creative women and gender expansive folks who have silenced themselves to make others comfortable. They are wanting to rediscover their voice, reclaim their power, be true to themselves while caring less about what others think about them. Through my own EMDR and hypnotherapy, I learned how to calm my inner critic, befriend my body, and balance the blessings and inevitable curses of attention abundance with entrepreneurship. Although your journey to owning and knowing your power may be very different than mine, I’d be honored to be your guide.

Therapy doesn't have to suck

Despite the seriousness and depth of our work, I hold the policy that work is serious play. I liberally use humor, creativity, and warmth to create a supportive space for you to learn new skills, re-discover your strengths, and foster resilience to overcome life’s struggles with confidence.

I don't do cookie-cutter therapy where I follow a manual step by step and throw worksheets at you. I listen deeply to craft an easy and efficient treatment plan with you for your specific needs and goals.

My approach is integrative, holistic, and research-based to provide you the best treatment science has to offer for deep healing and transformation. We can get a little "woo" too if you desire. I also interweave ADHD and executive coaching approaches so you can actually get shit done and deeply understand your strengths in your career.

For hypnotherapy, IFS, or guided meditations in our sessions, I can provide you a professionally recorded MP3 for you to download.

I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, kink-aware, poly and ethical non-monogamy affirming, sex-worker allied, and take an anti-racist and health at every size (HAES) stance in our work together.

My hours are 9am-5pm, Monday through Thursday, with my last appointment at 4pm.
As an out-of-network provider, I can give you a superbill on a monthly basis for you to be reimbursed for out-of-network services. Please note, however, that providing a superbill requires me to provide you with a mental health diagnosis which will be part of your permanent medical record.

For the purpose of your confidentiality and privacy, I will not be communicating with your insurance provider directly.

In my experience, insurance sh*t's all over your healing and are party crashers to your growth. They limit the number of sessions, frequency of sessions, and will randomly decide you’re “all better” when we’ve only met for 3 sessions. No thank you!
Our first 85 minute session together is $230 and includes a thorough and holistic assessment and treatment plan

Subsequent 55 minute sessions are $200 and includes a professional audio recording of any hypnosis, mindfulness, or IFS-informed meditations during our time together

Costs for a Cause:
My rates allow me to provide premium care to others who are struggling financially and would not have access to the specialized treatment I offer. With every session, you are helping someone in North Carolina have access to effective trauma treatment


If you are struggling financially, I offer limited sliding scale and scholarship slots. I do not want money to be a barrier to your healing. Please contact me and we can discuss your options to get you the care that you deserve.

An alternative option is having a friend, partner, or love one pay for your sessions until you are financially able to do so.
Individual sessions are 55 minutes.

I can also provide 120 minute sessions for longer EMDR and Hypnotherapy sessions to heal deeper and faster.
I will be offering walk-n-talk therapy at one of my favorite hiking spots in Asheville, NC around March 2022 (pending the COVID pandemic).

Please note, I will only be offering walk-n-talk therapy to vaccinated clients.

    • For therapy to flow effectively, it's necessary for you to feel at ease during our work together. My clients love having their sessions outside, or on their favorite couch, and wearing their leggings or lounge clothes with their favorite essential oils in the background. Whether at home, on a trip, in your office, you can easily carry out your sessions productively and comfortably.

  • 3. Confidentiality
    • Goodbye awkwardness of waiting rooms or accidentally running into your ex in the parking lot! With online care, you can carry out the sessions from any location of your choosing without anyone knowing your business.  Like in person sessions, I'm legally and ethically bound to protect your confidentially, health information, and obey HIPAA. In other words, all your data and the conversation between you and me remain secure through encryption.

  • 4. It's JUST as effective as in person therapy
    • Multiple research trials comparing online versus in person therapy suggest that treatment effects are equivalent. Yes, even hypnotherapy and EMDR can be done effectively & successfully online. In fact, a study indicated that some clients feel more comfortable video chatting versus than in person.
