Clinical psychologist | Multi-media artist | Mind-body medicine researcher | Proud dog mom

I'm passionate about helping others live a more mindful and vibrant life.  I enjoy painting, kickboxing, playing video games, sipping a big cuppa pu-erh tea, and frolicking in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Oh, and I'm a recovering perfectionist, too.

My Story: Chronic stress sucks. 
It wreaks havoc on your body and mind. I've been there, barely keeping afloat with the demands of a toxic work environment, bad bosses, and of course, my own ridiculously high standards. I ignored my body's needs for quite some time. Silencing my needs to please others. And then life truly gave me a wake-up call to stop, breathe, and live true to my values.
I was struck by a car. By walking across the street. 
And yes, I lost a few braincells in the process. And yes, I still live with chronic pain. The incident ignited my passion for mindful hypnosis and holistic mind-body medicine for chronic conditions and shitty life events. Through my process of recovery, I discovered my resilience, authenticity, and transformed my pain into meaning.
